The first race of the season is next weekend so I thought it might be a good time to get my race bike off the wall, put some new cables on it, and actually ride it. Yikes! Maybe I should have done that a little sooner than 9 days before the first race. It's a sprint so I'll only be on the bike for about 22 minutes but... I'm pretty sure I did the same thing last year???
Ironman Texas training is coming along quite nicely even without the Commander around. I looked at my training numbers from 30 days ago and there is a very nice progression indicating that this next race "might be my best yet." :)
**Special Statement**
I WILL NOT BE RACING THE IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KAILUA KONA HAWAII 2012!!!!!!
I'll be busy. I will be exploring Ironman and Ironman distance racing elsewhere on the globe though.
Oh! I made the Commander some Macadamia Nut Brittle. It almost didn't make it to her because Teegan and I LOVED it. She said that it was even better than the stuff we get in Kona :) The best and the worst part... it is very easy to make...
